Above the programme for the carnival week in Valle Gran Rey which starts on Monday, February 12th 2018. This year the main theme is 'cinema'' and the carnival headquarters will be on the pier in Vueltas harbour where a marquee has already been erected. The main attractions are the parade which sets off from the town hall in La Calera on Friday Feb 16th at 5:30 pm and then passes through La Playa, La Puntilla, then back up through Borbalan to the harbour where late night dancing to salsa bands will follow from 11 pm. The following day the 'sardine procession' will start from La Playa and then follow the same route as the parade and once the sardine has been 'buried', all-night dancing will follow once again to end this year's carnival.

Thank you for this great site
Can you please make a article with these subjects : is there any crime on La Gomera ? How to buy house/apartment/property on La Gomera ? What's up with the public indoor pool in Hermigua ? How is the work marked on La Gomera ? What does the people on La Gomera think about tourists, are they tired of them or do they think it's nice? I'm so impressed of all the stone terrace's, is there any info of how many there/how many kilometres there are ?
Hi, and to answer you questions briefly:
1) Crime: VERY little, if any.
2) Property: Same as anywhere else in Canary Islands. There are several estate agents, called 'inmobiliaria' (with websites) here, and private sales.
3) Hermigua pool is currently closed
4) High unemployment rate and low pay for the few jobs.
5) Tourists are wanted and welcome here, that's what most locals feel.
6) I don't have the answer to that, but it's a LOT.
Hoping the above helps a bit to answer your questions.
