Mainly due to the lack of support by the local administration and due to the many ludicrous regulations being enforced to the last letter, there's no Valle Luna festival this year. The popular event drew large crowds and many international entertainers in recent years, but sadly could not be repeated this year. However many musicians and visitors came all the same and there are plenty of low-key events taking place in several venues, as well as spontaneous street performances scattered throughout the lower parts of Valle Gran Rey.
