Yes, there's snow on Tenerife, but high up on Mount Teide. Its 3,718-metre (12,198 ft) summit is the highest point in Spain and the highest point above sea level in the islands of the Atlantic. In winter the top of this still active volcano is often covered in snow. At sea level it is very warm and people are out on the beaches sunbathing and swimming in the sea.
